The Villa Heckenfels is uniquely located near the former German capital – the city of Bonn – within the Siebengebirge nature reserve and national parc. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. Villa Heckenfels was built ontop its own hill overlooking the Rhine Valley and can be accessed only by a private road. The international well known German Landmark “Drachenfels Castle” is just some minutes away and you can see it from our pool terrace as well as from our “Drachenfels Suite”.

The villa offers an elegant ambience; also suitable for high class management Meetings and was completely renovated a few years ago and completely refurbished. The interior was redesigned with fixtures from the Louis XVI epoch and the Empire and equipped accordingly. It has on the ground floor three spacious connected salons with exclusive and stylish features. 

Around the villa you will find on 20.000 sqm a private forrest and a park-like garden which was designed by a popular architect. From various terraces and viewpoints you will enjoy a fantastic panoramicview on the Rhine Valley. 

During the time of the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949 – 1950, Villa Heckenfels was the residence of the British Deputy High Commissioner Sir Christopher Steel. During that time political talks between the British High Commissioner and the closest associates around the first German chancellor Dr. Konrad Adenauer took place in Villa Heckenfels.
